Suter Gallery

Last week we went to the Suter Gallery to look at the works of John Bevan Ford. In his work he uses fine, detailed Maori patterns to fill spaces and create a really interesting effect. Many of his artworks had birds in them so our activity was to create our own patterns on a bird (manu) shape. This week we are going to do our own backgrounds then we will cut out our birds and stick them on. What fun! Thank you Esther, we love going to the Suter!
