Mask Parade

On Friday evening we went in the Nelson Mask Parade. Earlier in the day we were rather worried because the weather was a bit doubtful but the rain held off and the parade went ahead. The theme was global spirit so each class at Central chose a different country to represent. Room 3 chose Korea and we did our masks all the same design but in different colours.
We has a percussion group accompanying us and lots of parents on guitars and other instruments. We sang the chorus from Bob Marley's song "One love, one heart" It was a great experience.

Our first Dance session

On Tuesday October 13th Room 3 went to dance. Jo from Drama was teaching it. It was about movement. We played a game where we had to touch each other’s knees and when the music stopped we had to freeze. It was really fun. It was hard when we had to lean on someone. I loved it! I can’t wait until next time.
