On the 21 of September Nelson Central School went to the quad for a Maori welcome for visitors from the Education Review Office. We sang 2 songs, they sang 1 song. Then the Maori classes sang 2 songs. The Maori class did the traditional hongi. After morning tea one of the people came to our class. We have been on our best behaviour all the week! But some people weren’t on their best behaviour and were talking at the wrong time. It is very nerve raking because you don’t know when the visitors were going to walk in the door.
