In our homework we had to choose one of our values from the Strategic Plan and write about what that means for us when we are at school.
Our Values are:
- Doing our best,
- Getting along with others,
- Making good choices,
- Looking after the world.
Some of our ideas were:
- Doing our best means trying our hardest in our work. (Grace)
- Doing our best means I try my best at handwriting, to listen in class and at everything at school. (Louie)
- Getting along with others means playing nicely, not hurting others, and trying to sort sort problems out. (Jack)
- Making good choices means not bullying, helping my friends, listening well in class and playing with people who don't have anyone to play with. (Logan)
- Making good choices also means sitting still and listening to the teacher, doing your homework and bringing it back and if a friend asks you to do something and you don't think it is a good idea - don't do it! (Ella)
- Looking after the world means recycling rubbish and not cutting down trees. It means saving animals, looking after each other and people who aren't as lucky as us. (Charlotte)
- Looking after the world also means trying to pick up rubbish around the school and reusing plastic bags. (Baimon)
